Is it possible that all OSD elements have a hardcoded size of 720x480 and does not use their size from the OSD\skin.xml? Everytime i change the size of an OSD to my standard 1024x576 absolutly nothing happens.
It's the same for liveTV-Guide although i have defined it as 1024x576 only a part of 720x480 is displayed. Which also means the popup, which is used from the TV Guide\skin.xml and not used from the TV Guide\live-skin.xml is not displayed completely because if positioned it in the middle of my 1024x576.

Am i doing something wrong here or is it realy hardcoded?

Which also leads me to the question what really happens to my PAL TV signal if my GBPVR-window is 1024x576. Is it first reduced to 720x480 and then stretched back to 1024x576 (or what the aspect ratio says) or is the PAL signal left at its 720x576 and only streched to fit the window?
Maybe sub you make this clear to me.

Everywhere else in the application is configureable, but there is some hardcoding of the size in the OSD. I'll remove this limitation in a future release.

The reason this area of the application is different than the rest, is because it is written in C++, not C# like the rest of the application, and it doesnt have full access to some of the information it would need to do this. I'll need to do a small bit of re-architecting work for this to happen - I'm saving this fun job for a rainy day.

Video is resized directly by the renderer (VMR/Overlay) from 720x576 up to your window size. The hardcoded OSD size only affects the OSD which is mixed onto the output window.

OK sounds like a lot of work. I mean it's no problem for the OSDs or for the live TVGuide. I can live with the reduced resolution. The only problem is that the popupscreen for the live tvguide uses the definition from the "normal" tvguide skin file. Maybe you could change that in a way that it uses the definition from the live-skin file. Then both could be handeled seperately so both could look good and not only either normal or live guide.
