you could probably do it, by creating to different config.xml files with different tasks checked, then set two short cuts to a batch file that copied the different config files into the gbpvr directory then start the program.

ie,
Radio.bat
copy radio.xml config.xml
gbpvr.exe

thanks for the information, that worked great. One question, when I run the batch file a little window with a black background pops up for a few seconds, is there any way I could do it so that that window is not seen?

thanks for the help

with some scheduled tasks that i have on my system, i actually set the default settings for the cmd window to be outside the viewable screen. Probably to do so, stick a pause at the bottom of the batch file, then run it, then go and edit the properties and set it outside the screen width, then you should be able to make that the default for windows of that name......which is hopefully NOT cmd.exe. If it is, you may need to try the method below.

Also if you have it as a shortcut to the batch file rather than run the batch file directly, you may be able to say run minimised in there.

It probably would be wise to copy the config.xml first to pvr.xml, so that if you have made any changes, they won't be lost.
ie:
copy config.xml pvr.xml
copy radio.xml config.xml
gbpvr.exe[/quote]

Thanks for all the help. This is actually the first time I worked with batch files. Setting the shortcut to run minimized did the trick. again thanks for the help.

Just be careful with your multi-setups. I used to do this when I was running gbpvr as a client. Sometimes I wanted to run it client sometimes stand alone. What I found was really annoying about the batch file method was, every time I made a global config change I needed to recreate the "modified" versions of the config.xml. Not to mention anytime you upgrade a plugin or the core GBPVR you will need to recreate your config.xml's. As long as you don't forget its really not a problem.

Good luck.
