I can play wmv files using my MVP, but the audio is delayed and the aspect of the video is not correct (the video takes up about 2/3 of the screen and there is a big black bar at the bottom). Everything works fine when I use the Hauppauge server software. I don't experience the reboot problems others have had. Should I use ffdshow? If so, how do I set it up? I would appreciaite any hints or tips to solving this problem. Thanks...

Ok...I finally got ffdshow to resize the video to 640x480, so the wmv file now takes up the entire screen. The only problem remaining is that the audio is out of sync. Any ideas...

When I play a wmv file at the console through the gbpvr front-end there are no audio sync problems. Next I decided to run the Trans2MVP.exe program manually on the command line. When I transcode the wmv file to a mpeg using this program the audio sync problem do occur. So, it would seem ffdshow is not the problem and that something odd is happening during the transcode process. Well I think I've had enough for today...time to get some sleep. Later...
