Weather Plugin Problem.

I am having a problem with the weather plugin. It was working before. Now when I click on weather it says "Downloading Weather Forecast - Please wait while downloading weather forecast from msnbc.com, this may take a while depending on your internet connection" I wait and nothing happens. Please can somebody help. I have tried different area code, still the same.

MSNBC may have changed the data format again. Just wait a while I'm sure an update will appear soon.

Actually now that I'm home and able to check. Mine does work fine.
When is the last time you actually used the weather plugin. Have you updated the weather plugin with the one from this thread? http://forums.nextpvr.com/showthread.php...ht=weather

Tried loading newest weather plugin. Same problem. Uninstalled the plugin and reloaded. Same problem. Not sure what to do! I used it about one month ago. What can I check to see what is wrong? Let me know.

When on GBPVR 0.9615, my weather worked fine...I would check the weather forecast every morning, after installing latest gbpvr v0968 and reinstalling weather plugin I get "Downloading Weather Forecast - Please wait while downloading weather forecast from msnbc.com, this may take a while depending on your internet connection" and stays like that forever.
No biggie, I'll just wait. :-)

Try doing a forum search on 'weather' you'll find a thread about the problem with the plugin on the wikki and also a download that fixes it

Weather is working fine for me. The date on my Plugins\WeatherPlugin.dll is 1\19\2006.

Thanks!!! My current WeatherPlugin.dll is dated 12/05/2005. That is funny, why does http://gbpvr.com/pmwiki/pmwiki.php/Plugin/Weather still use the 12/05/2005 version instead of the 1/20/2006?
Anyway, I'll try it out once I get home. I"m sure that is the fix. :-)
