Comic can't run

Hi

I installed the GBPVR v0.19.3 in which the comic plug-in was 1.0.1668.35689

I ran the GBPVR at the PC, and select any of the the comic channels would give error message :
"Error: The underlying connection was closed. An unexpected error occurred on a receive."

At the running, the internet connection was up via the ADSL modem. And the firewall (ZoneAlarm) was set to off.

The other functions that playing back media contents in the PC were OK.

Appreciate any insight and expert comments.

Is it all comics. Your internet connection was definitely working when you tried?

Even though you've tried to turn your firewall off, I'm sure its somehow related to this. The error message is effectively saying it was unable to connect and retrieve the comics from the remote server. Others that use ZoneAlarm may be able to comment further on how to get it to work properly.

I've just tried v0.20.5 on a clean machine and the comics plugin seems to be working fine here.

Yes my internet connection is running OK (MS Explorer) at that time, and is all the comics can't run.
At the time when the error message came out, in Zone Alarm it indicated that GBPVR is accessing the internet.
