ive just installed this app, and i need some help.
ive got the hauppauge pvr150 card

i will have RF in from sky+ AND s-video feed (one for the sky eye so i can control the box from the pc and the 2nd for better quality capture.)

i can't get the FM Tuner to work with the software, or more to the point, i dont know how. it works fine with wintv radio that hauppauge supplies.

also can someone recommend capture settings so its dvd quality but not gb's worth of file size.

The medium or default setting is usually good enough. However if you want to capture at a higher bit rate, just remember that DVD standard says 5000 -> 9000 bit/sec. So just pick your poison.... I have mine recording at 6500, but that's me.

You can't have DVD quality mpg2 without big files. The only thing you can do is transcode the mpg2 files to divx or xvid afterwards. There are lots of threads in the forums about how to do that, and gbpvr supports doing it automatically or you can use Video Library to convert on demand.
