I'd like to see the option to record Season (this channel, this time-slot + on this day). The way it works now, if the same program shows up on any other day at the same time, it gets recorded as well.

You can already choose between weekly timeslot or daily timeslot when you schedule the recording.

Cool, I see this now.

Can I change my wish to having these options appear in the web interface?

They are in the enhanced web interface. The web interface shipped with GBPVR is a few versions behind the latest enhanced web admin. I don't believe sub mainatins the web interface any more. Any wish lists you have concerning the web interface should be posted in the enhanced web admin thread in the development forum. It's very long!!!! Also, there is a wish list for the web admin on the wiki, you may want to read it first before a wish that's already on the wish list.

When I schedule a recording for "all in this weekly timeslot, this channel" and then check pending recordings, I see entries for all the episodes for that day on that channel, not just that timeslot. If I choose "all in this daily timeslot, this channel" and check pending recordings, I see entries for every episode on that channel.

Simpsons - Sunday 6:30-7:00
Simpsons - Sunday 8:00-8:30 <- all in this weekly timeslot, this channel

I expect to get the Simpsons every Sunday from 8:00 to 8:30 but I get both the episodes shown on Sunday.

There's a fudge factor in the timeslot, I believe there's a 2 hour each way that allows for the episode time change. I think you can narrow this factor in the config.xml, but I can't remember exactly what the variable name is.

It's called <AllowableTimeslotVariance>, IIRC, and I think it's set to 90 minutes nowadays.
