After reading a lot on the Wikki and the Forum I like to setup this awesome GBPVR software but before I start I need some advice what the best setup for me will be.
I have a pc on the attic (see specs below) running with a pvr350 board controlled by Winvodio software. In my living I use a MediaMvp with the standard Hauppauge software connected to my television. Scheduling I does with reliable http://www.vodio.com and it works OK. Itâs a simple setup but I does what is must do.
My main question is must I leave physical hardware setup as it is? because the MediaMvp does everything with GBPVR except playing DVDâs? Or do I miss something?
Change=takes a lot of time+more noice in the living.
No Change=Less functionality ???
Is it better to switch from PVR350 to a PVR150? Because the detailed capture list sayâs âno longer recommended due unstable hardware decoderâ (switching cost me money)
Is the quickwalktrough enough to configure the Dutch broadcasters? Or is there a lot detailed configuration needed?
Does it take a lot of âuserâ time to keep the program/epg everyday info up to date?
Is it enough to follow the instruction enhanced web admin to be able to do programming elsewhere or do I have to setup a website? Can I use this site also with my PDA?
Are there other things I need to no for a quick and successful setup?
