I was wondering if there was a way to be able to utilize some of the special buttons on my Remote Wonder with GBPVR? Especially the stop, play, and pause buttons for controlling the state of the currently playing song. Some of the buttons already work, because they basically emulate the keyboard keys, but it'd be nice if there was a way to get the other buttons working with this program. Any ideas?

With the software form Ati you can program your a t/m f buttons as you already know(?)

You can also look in : ..\devnz\GBPVR\KeyMappings\
All the keymappings for all different screens are available here.
With the program showkey.exe you can see what button is pressed on your remote.

Use HIP - now the only plugin I use for my RW2. Twenty minutes and you'll be setup. But you'll likely spend days fiddling to incorporate the rest of your computer as a front end. My HTPC incorporates Media Player Classic (DVD), Zoom Player (AVI movies), GBPVR, myHTPC (Videos plugin), Daemon Tools and Foobar (CD Playing). I can even navigate windows with my remote.

Or, you can just download the GBPVR plugin from http://remotew.free.fr/plugins.htm#gbpvr and that'll get you going the fastest.
