What happened to the download counts on the wiki?

I dont know where those numbers come from, or why they would be reset, but I havnt done anything on that server in recent weeks.

I imagine it's a feature of the pm_wiki software. Would blader_se know?

Google rules! Looks like we have a PHP download manager installed (described here) and that the download info is stored in a text file called .download.manager in the wiki.d directory. So if that file gets saved whenever any major site maintenance happens, perhaps the problem would go away.

edit:I've PMed blader_se to ask him if he knows how to arrange this.

Hi all,

I'm currently enjoying vacation now, so I don't follow the forum that activly at the moment. (ubu got my attention through PM though.)

As he found out the download manager counts the download and puts the result i a file. Since this file is whitin the wiki I'ts unlikely that any site changes would change it. My guess is that the locking system (whenever two person downloads the same file) goofs up, or that the filename of some downloaded file upsets it.

The file is currently looking full and I have taken a backup - PM me the next time it happens and we can diff the files..
