We are a handlful of skin adicts here at the Forum that might be interested to have more skinning possibilities. I guess we have all wished for some features every now and then when we have gotten an idea for a design....so what have you ever wished for?
The intention with this tread is to collect skinning suggestion for eventual consideration by Sub.....some day.
Main Menu
* Possibility for Dual Task Images. One small in the button and one larger in main view.
(possibility to emulate Medeeo HDeeTV skin)
* Possibility to use "Cutaway" in Horizontal menus...with Dual TaskImages
* Possibility to use TaskImages with all Menu types/Horizontal Menus
* Possibilty to have the Task Title in the Main view with all Menu types....like TaskDescriptions, not only in the buttons
* Support for Flash animations as a task image. (Meedio have this feature)
* Support for animated GIF (MP have this, but it is not so interesting perhaps)
* Possibility to start TV directly in Windowed "Home" mode... when GBPVR is launched.
Sub Menus General
* Have a web hyperlink related to an image.
OSD Menu
* Support for "mouse over" image. (Is it there already someway?)
Search Menu
* Possibility for Horizontal Search Letters
TV Guide
* Possibility to use fill color - Vertical #color-#color and/or images for a selected program.
* Popup uses NormalButton images instead of Popup ButtonImage. I added the CompositeImage for buttons to limit the width of buttons in the popup.
Recordings Menu
* Popup should use Popup button Images, but now it uses NormalButton Images that looks strange when left edge buttons are used (Avance ThemePack)
* Manual recordings screen - positioning possibilities of elements in X direction
Video, Music Photo List view
* Possibility to have an image for selected/unselected item.
Skin Tools
A silent program that can harvest the sub menus and change the loc params for the ScreenName Title ...... with a ThemePack
I will add more things when they comes to mind or if a suggestion comes from anyone.
