Hello,

I was wondering if using Trans2MVP.bat is still a valid option on 0.97.07 release. Directions for using it refer to options that are no longer available on the MVP configuration screen (ffdshow and ffmpeg). Additionally, I have verified that this batch file is not executing when I view video from the MediaMVP.

It is also possible I have some other setting wrong, but I thought I'd ask in a new thread - before spending any more time troubleshooting this.

Thanks!

Nothing has changed in this area of the code, but I dont know if anyone has ever tested this feature. I dont remember ever seeing a report of it in the past.

Either way, its only used if you have <MVPTranscodeUsingFFmpeg>false</MVPTranscodeUsingFFmpeg> in config.xml

Ah... that explains a lot to me, I thought it was just the other way round (you had to check the ffmpeg).
I see now it's on the wiki, it makes sense too if you think about it.:o

I'm sure that's my problem. I'll change that setting to false tonight and see what happens next.

Thanks,

Not a problem at all Smile ... I'm just happy to figure out how this all works. I'm really impressed with the community here and all the ideas people are coming up with to improve the application.

Once I have my system working the way I want (with my 150 coming tomarrow), I'm going to start playing around with plugins, and seeing what other useful things I can get the mvp to do.

Sub, FYI: I've been using Trans2MVP.bat for a while now on 0.96.12, and it works great. http://forums.nextpvr.com/showthread.php?t=15156 Although, I haven't upgraded yet to 0.97.07.
