Size of window/field for program information

Hi, I have tried to search the forum for an answer but failed.

My xmltv application gives me more information that is showed in the program information window. Instead it is truncated. How/where do you make necessary changes to show all information, i.e., change the size of the window/field. Or is there a way you could scroll this information?

AFAIK you can't. e.g. the length of the 'description' field in the db is 255 chars. so it gets truncated.
resizing the field wont have an effekt, since the truncating is done when importing the xmltv file by code.

IIRC sub said something that this may change in future versions (i don't remember exactly, so don't quote me on it )

so even if you resize the window displaying the info (which _is_ possible (have a look at the skin.xml file of the according plugin(s)) you probably wont see more text.

It did change in the most recent release. If you're using SQLite there is no limit. That said, there is no scroll functionality, but you can make your own skin that is designed for longer descriptions if you want.
