It is easier for the end user to download and run a themepack ..... he don't have to unzip it and I don't have to zip it.

I thought that zip would save file space, and that uploading .exe file was a "bad thing" with viruses and all...

But I'm no Windows expert so please advice...

There is potential for nastiness with any file download, but I don't think a ".exe" file or a ".exe" file wrapped into a ".zip" file is any different.

Maybe security experts here will prove me wrong, but I don't see a difference.

I just wanted to upload the ThemePacks exe files without zipping the exe file. I have now set up a wiki where I can upload the themepack exe files.
