Hiyas,
Something that's bugging me that I just can't seem to figure out. I have a Hercules Game Theatre XP 7.1 running the noise side of things for my Gbpvr box. I'm using the analogue 5.1 outputs to go to my 5.1 speakers.
I also have a standalone DVD player (The Gbpvr box has pretty much replaced it) as a fallback. It has both optical and coaxial digital outputs. I'm trying to use either of these to connect into the Game Theatre XP. However when I do I get nothing but static through the speakers.
If anyone is familiar with these sound cards or the equivelent SB can you tell me what I'm doing wrong? Surely this soundcard can handle more than one input. It certainly has the connections for it. I didn't get a manual with it, it was an eBay special.
If anyone has any suggestions or can point me to a good resource I'd appreciate it.
cheers.
