I actually have a few questions about converting from mpg to xvid (avi) via postprocessing.bat.
I'm going to be recording 3 World Cup games per day in MPG (~3 GB each) and I want to convert those to XVID once the last game of the day is done with recording.
1) Does GBPVR take upcoming recordings into account when deciding whether to start converting when set to "ASAP"? For example, I wouldn't want my computer to start converting to xvid and sucking CPU when it's going to begin recording the next game in 45 min.
2) I tried to search for threads about this, but I didn't find anything that really answered my question. I want to use RenameRecording, Comskip, and automatic conversion to xvid/avi. Is this possible? What order should I do them in? My understanding is that RenameRecording (obviously) changes the name of the file so it should probably take place after Comskip? Should I do Rename Recording after I convert to avi/xvid? Or should I do it before?
