My system is prettly close to how I had everything before 97.x came out. One of the things I am still missing is e-mail notice of recorded programs. I used RecInfo.exe to generate notices. I have not tried it, but assume it will not be able to access the new SQLite database.

I also found RecStatus that I hadn't seen before. Looks very nice, but I bet it too will have issues with SQLite. The developer of these two has not been to the forums for a while.

I tried searching the forums on 'email' which produced a bagillion hits.

Has anyone worked out a system to notify via e-mail when a recording is complete? Other notifications?

yeah...i use this command line emailer to email myself the various logs every night.

you could add a line in postprocessing.bat to add the filename of the new recording to a daily log and sendemail to email it to yourself every night, or just put sendemail directly into postprocessing.bat to email yourself after each recording....

I've downloaded and will give it a try. I might try combining this with MisterSlimm's GBPVRcli utility to get current recording status (run from parallelprocessing.bat) and upcoming recordings.

Thanks!
David
