Trouble with WMA

MVP crashes when playing WMA files. Files play fine on computer through GVPVR. I assume it is a transcoder issue. How may I rectify this?

I have the same issue. MVP H3 Lot 2106. WMA files play OK through Hauppauge own s/w but crashes on every dongle I have tried.

I am running Win03 with GBPVR 97.13 with NativeUtilities patch. Currently using dongle 32-24110B. When WMA file crashes a crash file is also created on the server.

"Faulting application Trans2MP3.exe, version 0.0.0.0, faulting module Trans2MP3.exe, version 0.0.0.0, fault address 0x00002717."


Any help appreciated.

I'm not able to tell you why you're getting that error, but I can say that the next release does not use Trans2MP3.exe for playback of audio files on the MVP. The new mechanism will be much more robust for you.
