At work we have a software product called DoubleTake that includes a small utility called DTinfo. This utility harvests information about the software itself (i.e. logs, version number, etc.) and any other pertinent environmental data (OS version, etc) when invoked by an administrator. This information is used by DoubleTake's support team anytime we open a support call in order to help them diagnose the issue.
I thought such a utility would prove useful for GBPVR now that it is getting so complex. At the very least it would save sub the time of asking common questions like, "What version are you running..." or "Send me this or that log file". What do you think?
