Does anyone know if there's a database somewhere that contains IR codes for different STBs (In a format that can be sent by HipSend)? I have a DirectTV H20 STB and could not sucessfully learn the codes via HIP using the MCE v2 IR Receiver. I am hoping that someone (possibly with a USB-UIRT) has already learned the codes and posted them somewhere.

Forgive me if this info already exists somewhere in this forum. I did some searches and could not find it.

Thanks for any lead,

Remote Central hosts CCF files for a lot of STBs and remotes, you may be lucky and find yours is one of them, in which case you can load them directly into HIP.

try byremote.com or the site for HIP...there's the Pronto standard that can be sent with the MCE utils and it's pretty much the only standard out there..
i believe the HIP site also has util to read the Pronto files and manipulate them..

I used my remote from my H20 and got it trained.

FYI, you can use the D11 that is already in GBPVR, as the basic keys they use are the same (numbers and enter key), nevertheless, here it is...

Sub, you might want to include this for future relases.

FYI, one trick I found, at least, I think, that you have to have GBPVR recording service stopped (or at least remote set to none) to re-train a new remote using the config app.

anedjf,

This looks promising. I'm a newbie. I am using HipSend to blast the IR, and was expecting a .ccf file. How do I use this file that you sent?

Appreciate the help

not sure. I use an IR blaster (IR200L). Unzip the file I attached and put it in your gbpvr/ir definitions/<appropriate ir blaster directory>. Then use the config app to configure your blaster under capture source settings.

Perhaps someone else can comment.

Here is a CCF file I found on the 'net for the D10, as I said, most basic keys are the same. A few more minutes with Google, and I'm sure I'd find the exact one.

But, this should get you started.

Thanks anedjf. I've save this IR200L definition in the master set.

Just a note for other users. These files are note compatible between blasters. If it was originally made for the IR200L, it cant be used with another blaster.
