I have tried MCE2005, mediaportal and would now like to try GBPVR mainly due to the media mvp support. My card works great with the other software packages but with gbpvr it will not detect any chanels when scanning.

I am using 3.255 terratec drivers and have only got the latest version of gbpvr and net 2.0

I searched and found several threads saying they had no installation problems and all worked OK but looking at the date it was earlier versions of gbpvr. I have also found a later post saying that he had the same problem as I do until he reverted back to an older version, 09612, and net 1.1.

http://forums.nextpvr.com/showthread.php...t=terratec

Is this the case - if so where can I download older versions of gbpvr. Does anyone know why it appears to fail with the latest updates?

Thanks for any help as I am looking forward to giving this a go and finally getting wife approval

You could try running the ReRegisterFilters.bat file. It might help.

No older versions of GB-PVR are available.

Not really. I dont really know anything about terratec cards.

You could possibly try editing your .ini file from C:\Program Files\devnz\gbpvr\BDA\DVB-T to remve the "166"Khz offset. ie, "C41,634166,0,0,8" would become "C41,634000,0,0,8"

I also have this card and have noticed tuning issues in a number of apps. Apparently it has issues with frequency offsets according to some UK forums I read somewhere.

If you have another bda card scan with it then copy the contents of generated the scan.cache file over.
