Skins on Svid

I operate GB_PVR on my TV screen. The output is either s-vid from TV-out (the normal PC-screen on TV). I rarely use that channel since I want to be where the action is, live tv and DVD etc. and thats the channel where the X-card put's the output, also s-vid.
But there any skin looks like shit (imagine a pc monitor on 256 colors)
Is the problem clear? And ss there a solution for that problem?

I have no idea what you just tried to ask, but I'll pick a few keywords and take a stab at an answer.

The XCard OSD hardware is only capable of 256 colors. This is a limitation of the hardware, so unfortunately you'll just have to put up with it. Pick a skin that relies on less colours than the default (Blue). Flat blue looks reasonable on the XCard. You're also welcome to have a go at designing your own skins.

Several other users have skins they are working on, and some of these may also look good with 256 colours.

Sub, Thx for the answer. I was already afraid of that (The X-card) so I'm stuck with it.
Yes indeed the flat blue is the best one, but there's a problem with the Theaters button see:

as for designing another skin, I'm not really a programmer, but very goor at writing manuals and texts. So if I can be of any help (ever) in that field, I gladly would.
