I am trying to figure out how to control gbpvr via the web
I have never done anything like this before
i saw in the config screen that there was a spot
for name and password
and a port call 7467
I am assuming that this port will have to be opened in the firewall
once that is done how do you get to / log on to gbpvr
do you use a web browser or something directed at you IP

any help will be greatly apperciated
(or terms to search)
(when searching i mainly found posted related to enhanced web admin )

thanks

start by browsing locally on your pvr by using your web browser of choice:

http://localhost:7647/gbpvr/login.aspx

When you have gotten that to work, you can move on to using another computer on your network and see if you can access
http://<iptoyourpvr>:7647/gbpvr/login.aspx

If that is ok, then you can try opening up your router to the outside world, and make sure to port forward 7647 to the ip of your pvr computer. Then you can try accessing it from work or whereever. You might want to have a friend help you try: it can be a hassle going to work - seeing it doesn't work - go home tweak the settings - go back to work (and so forth Wink )
I'm not always right
