GB-PVR Vs MCE

Hi All,
As a newbie to this forum I was wondering how many of you guys are running MCE2005 but prefer GB-PVR.
The choice is obvious for people running ordinary XP but I'm curious to find out the reasons people have jumped ship.
Is there a killer feature that GB-PVR has?
Stability/Compatibility/Flexibility?

I don't know much about MCE, but I assume it's not as easy to write your own plugins? And that you're not able to connect to your MCE server through the Hauppauge MVP? I'm sure there are lots of reasons

MVP support, plugins, ease of use via remote & high WAF, and also, for me, runs under Win 2K.

skins, ability to transcode to any format automatically, the ability to talk to a (the) real developer if you have a problem

I had a friend who said he had to jump through hoops to burn his MCE recordings to DVD format.

So either it's that dificult with DRM or he's a little Dee Dee Dee.
