2 STB's, only one gets full signal.....

I'm seeing if anyone might be able to help me here since Dish network's tech support isn't very helpful on this.......

I have a 301 receiver and the 2800 model, and I have a DP-Dual LNB for the both of them, the 301 works Great!! but the 2800 only gets a few channels, most of the channels with that box says signal lost, when I check the Transponder for the bad channels there is zero signal on the meter, I have done all the obvious like switch the cables, remove and reinsert the smart card, and unplug the box to reset it but no luck, now today I tried this, I still have the old single LNB so I put that back on and hooked the 2800 to it, and it worked great, is it maybe just incompatible with the DP-Dual LNB, if so what do I do now??

Also when I had the DP-Dual LNB up there, I unhooked the 301 from the LNB and the 2800 seemed to get abit better but not great, it just got a few more channels......

Yeah, the 301 works fine with both LNB's, and I flip flopped all the cables, and the signal strengh was very high on the 301 and the same channel on the 2800 was zero (I'll have to get more exact readings later) and I'm not quite sure what the IF Frequency is??

I might just sell the 2800 and get another 301......Might make things easier...

I checked all the setup menus and I didn't see any If Frequency's......is it labled something else in there??

It's been along time, but I finally got around to fixing this problem......I tried Tech nosupport from Dish network and they had no clue, I went to a local dealer here and no luck, so I just bought another 301 receiver and the problem is fixed.....I guess the old 2800 just couldn't do it......so if anyone wants a new dish network 2800 STB, I can make a deal........
