Hi,
I've just downloaded gb-pvr and giving it a go.
I'm using hauppauge's pvr150mce card with mce ir blaster.

When I choose to set up a new device profile, it comes up saying please wait. But then you see a prompt flash by asking for pressing buttons on the remote, but only for about 1/10th of a second before it automatically continues onto the next please wait. Finally ending with learning complete.

Anyone know why i'm not getting chance to input the learning commands?

I typically advise people they need to use HIP if they want to use the MCE IR Blaster - it does a much better job than the built in support. There is an article on setting it up on the wiki.

What release of GB-PVR are you running? IIRC, it behaved that way a few releases back but was fixed in a more recent release (don't remember which one). At least, that was my experience...

I would agree with sub, the Hauppauge MCE receiver beanbag and blaster work much better with HIP. I would suggest using the the 'alternate diver' found on the hip site...

Alternate driver white paper... http://www.byremote.com.au/Hip/mce_remote_faq.htm

Also check out the guides on using HIP with GBPVR
