I find that certain shows never have a subtitle and that makes it hard to tell them apart as all I have to go on is the date they were recorded on. I would like to be able to enter my own subtitle and/or descriptions for my recordings.

Maybe this could be added to Web Admin.

I know there are ways you can browse the SQLite database
http://forums.nextpvr.com/showthread.php...t=database,
but would be a lot simpler if we could just make the change through Web Admin.

What I am doing right now is making a copy of the mpg file and then deleting the original through Web Admin. Then I change the name of the copied file back to the original and then import it through an xml file and put the subtitle and/or description in there.

Any thoughts on this?

If you get your listings through zap2it?
TVGuideSupercharger in my sig will create a subtitle (when one does not already exist) using the “production number – (original-air-date)” if they are available. It can also add the production number and date to an existing subtitle as shown in “Chop Cut Rebuild”. The star at the end of the title separates new shows from reruns, it allows you to schedule only "new" shows if you wish.
There are lots of shows that don’t have a subtitle or description and I hate recording the same episode over and over! Big Grin

I've attached a screen cap from the enhanced web admin.
Hope this helps.
