For the past 10 years or so, I've been doing all my TV using three VCR's and a lot of tapes. I am in the process of switching over to the PVR thing, and loving it.

My 'wish' is there to be a way to mark recordings as already watched. I usually save recordings for at least a week, as most my friends know I'm a recording freak. Now with GBPVR, I started with deleting per-show as I watched, then realized I was no longer saving anything.. just in case.

Now I keep shows for a week or so after I watch them, but heck... I'm going to have to keep a list next to the TV to keep track of the things I haven't seen, as opposed to the ones I'm saving.

The video archive plug-in tracks this.

I have the Video Archive pluggin installed, and I do not see where you can flag an episode as 'watched'.

I figure I could go over to my computer and move/copy the mpeg to my videos folder, then go back to my livingroom and remove the episode from GBPVR's recorded list.

Am I missing something, cause I don't see anyway to flag a recorded as 'watched' within GBPVR or any pluggin I have installed.

At least here it's pretty much automatic. You'll get a little icon somewhere on your screen, depending on skin, denoting that the show has been watched. I'll try to attach a screenshot here that show what i mean. You'll see a little icon of a santa head in front of the mr. deeds movie that was watched.

Video Archive .... Hitting FAST-FORWARD (ctrl-F keyboard) toggles the list between "all" and "unwatched".

The only thing is toggling TO "all" works fine, but toggling to "unwatched" does not change the list without selecting every entry in the list. The ones with nothing watched disappear as they are selected.

I am using the current plug-in. The toggle would be real nice if it worked a little more smoothly.

That sounds like a bug. it is supposed to reset the list in both directions. I'll try to see if I can reproduce the behavior and track down the problem.

I would love this in the normal recordings view. I assume the info could be pulled from the db already (resume point), and it could just be an aditionale text style in the skin file.

So you could keep things as they are now, or you could make watched recordings another colour or something.

Cool... let me know. I'll reconfigure or reinstall or whatever I need to do to get it to work.

Can anybody verify this a bug in the current Video Archive pluggin? If its just my system, I'll go and reinstall GBPVR and pluggins to fix.

The possible 'bug' is that hitting the Fast-Forward on the remote should toggle the listing between ALL and Unwatched. Mine works toggling to ALL, but toggling to Unwatched... does not change the list. The list will update though line-by-line as I move the selector.
