Does anyone have thoughts about new plugins?

Hi
First of all. Thank you sub for a GREAT system. I've just installed it for the first time and I'm really impressed.

There are some features that I miss and I wonder if someone with more programming skills feel the same.

1. Possibility to mount SVCD and DVD images. Hopefully automatically by just playing the file in the video library. (Maybe by using Fantom CD or similar 3rd vendor application)

2. VFD Display plugin

3. Support for iMon RSC remote control from Ahanix

4. Possibility to add and remove NetRadio channels

5. Possibility to watch recording channel

6. Support for music CD and CDDB

How does that sound?

for your first point (mount images) i have an idea:

i am working on a video-plugin with dvd-profiler-enhancement. i will implement different actions on file-endings. avi's and mpg's will be played automatically, ifos or vob's should be played by the internal dvd-player (@sub: is it possible to launch the player like the audio- and video-player?).
for images, i think it would be possible to launch a specified software, which mounts the image and then pass the drive-letter to the internal player.

I assume it should be possible through Grider, the file for GBpvr is on the plugin site

Just add / remove pls files from the /Net Radio/ dir under /GBPVR/ though it only works with mp3 streams for now. I hope windows media and real audio will be supported later (maybe not for the MVP)

This should be possible now (though it isn't working on my computer ) just go to Recordings -> Pending -> select the one that's recording now and choose Play.

There has been a bit of talking about this, I think Sub included the events for it in GBpvr some versions ago.

It looks like there already is a GBpvr -> Grider -> LCD solution, but I haven't tried Grider so I don't know how it works: WOW with quick question about Girder support...
