An alternate to using another Windows machine as the server would be to take an older PC and turn it into a NAS server......I have been using NASLITE for a few years.......there is also FreeNAS.

The account you change it to will need to have Admin privledges.....and if you are accessing files on another machine the same id will need to be defined on that machine as well.

And the account has to be granted the Run as a service priviledge aswell.
