TimeShift Mode - Question

I have somes question about the timeshit mode.

If I start the TimeShift Mode (either by pressing pause or by foprcing it to automatically start by disabling LiveTv in the Options Tabs), the recording restart if I change the channel. But if I do not change the channel, it will record for how long? Forever, until the hard disk is full? Until the end of the actual program? I i started a the timeshift moode at the beginnign of a program and I press record , say, nearly at the end of the program, will all the program since the beginning of timeshift will be kept, or only from the point I pressed record?

It changes files at the end of each show, or after an hour if no listings are present, then files are deleted soon after.

Yes, it will keen the entire file.
