I have a Lotus screencam movie of about 30 minutes that I would like to convert in .avi or whatever more current format. The screencam movie is about a software demonstration, with in the background a spoken commentary. At present people have to download a special viewer to see the movie locally on their PC. I would like to let them just click a WEBlink to see the contents.
On the net I did not find any programs that supported the lotus .scm format. I only found a suggestion to use HyperCam, which is an other screen capturing device. (I might try that one, the description was confusing on whether it took the audio as well)
Is there anyone out here who has experience with this product? Do you know of any other conversion programs?
I am aware this is a bit off topic for these forums.
