Now that the plugin can show panel information beside it on the main menu why not update the plugin to give the information on diskspace/size available?

If this needs to be a png, then we can create the image inline. It would be good if these things are done in plugins as Sub has enough things to do on this project.

I wrote the Diskspace plugin, and have been thinking about updating it to take account of new features that have become available since it was posted. (to do with buttons and skinning).

I'm interested in what you mentioned about displaying info next to the button on the main panel, sounds like it might be worth doing. I'll look into it. I'll also look into auto detecting recording rate. I'm not sure about that though because you can have recordings at different rates on the drive so I thought it best if you just configured the value you want it to use for the estimate.

Happy to consider other suggestions

cool, glad to here it still be developed, i just thought that the auto detect preferred record settings would make it easier, well more accurate. i hope you include a date time feature aswell, since they would work well together
