Try setting the deinterlacing setting in the config app to 'encoder pass through'.

still black I kept retrying closing out and starting again twice it made the audio noise to start but stayed black audio gone. here are the updated logs for that

The logs look better than before, but I'd try a different audio and video decoder. Both of these that you're using have cause problems for people in the past:

thanks. I tried swapping them around and still got black.
I have a feeling maybe because this is an MCE pc and Media Center may be messing with it. I shouldnt waste anymore of your time.
My dual tuner pvr-500 works find with GB-PVR well except for the FM player. It will only play of find fm channels if I got to it right after starting GB-PVR and if I try to mod or change channels there is no more FM tuner.

Is there any way for me to tell GB-PVR to use which tuner? like swapping devices?
