Multi-level menus

How do you get the subMenus sorted right? In the Plugins I have:
TV
Video
Music
Extras
in that order, but on the main screen it shows up as:
Music
Extras
Tv
Video

???????

Seems no matter how I sort them the order on the screen is different from what I sort in!!

Does the order in config.xml under <MenuLayout> change? It does when I change the order in gbpvr-config-plugins.

Haven't checked the .xml file, but the order DOES change when I drag and drop, it just doesn't show the same order in the program. It's kind of like a mental puzzle!! Haven't figured out the pattern yet!

As far as the order goes, it should be the same as in the config, but it does of course wrap around, so if your skin is set so that the selected menu item is the one in the centre, eg:
Music
Exit
TELEVISION
Video
Extras

where "Television" is selected, then in the config you will have the submenus listed as:
Television
Video
Extras
Music
Exit.

I try to have the most used options at the start and the end of the list in the config.

Well I dont know why I could not figure out on my own. I guess it is just not intuitive to me tha tthe Plugins configuration would be used for the main menu and that the ADD button there would actually add a sub-menu. Perhaps that should be added to the config plugins page on the Wiki. http://gbpvr.com/pmwiki/pmwiki.php/Config/Plugins

OK, I see the problem - my skin starts at the top, but the problems is in the Plugins configuration screen, it force sorts the submenus at the top - i.e. I can't have a top level menu item of Live TV and have it at the top of the menu - feature suggestion coming!!

Well, got the sort I wanted by editing the config file. Still should be able to drag and drop where I want.
