I got my WinTV-PVR-350 and MediaMVP a couple weeks ago and I am really enjoying using GB-PVR with them.

Wishlist: I am in the U.S. and am using Zap2it for the data. If I go to Zap2it's website and look up listings, each "repeat" is labeled as such. This information does not show up in GB-PVR. I don't know what data is actually available from Zap2it, but if the "repeat" status of a show is available, I would really like for that to be displayed in the TV listings. Secondly, if that information is available, it would be very helpful if GB-PVR could skip recording a repeat when you set it up using the "Record Season" option.

Thanks

zap2it is only one of the sources of EPG data for GB-PVR, I also support bleb and XMLTV.

I've really had to aim for the lowest common denominator, and information like repeats/actors/genre etc are usually not available. That said, I do hope to include some of this extra info in future (as optional data).

Sub beat me to the response but here is mine...

This is a request I would like also, but the Sub has mentioned that he has written GBPVR to support multiple guide types and some countries, the U.S. not being one of them, does not always include this information.
Maybe someday he could make the guide intelligent to use the data if it is there and then continue on if it is not.

It still a great program and fits all of my needs. Thanks Sub. [Image: biggrin.gif]

Perhaps an easier solution would be for sub to just put something in the description field for a recording programme maybe "REPEAT".

I could write a quick program that would open the mdb and walk though the recordings in the database and check for the repeats and remove them. Using a simple scheduler like visualcron we can run this app every night to remove the repeats.

One thing we would have to find out from sub is 1 how hard it would be for him to include it in the description.

Second what process would I have to restart if any to get the changes to take effect (If I update the mdb file).
