Could be done....but I don't see it getting added....the browsing of folders that is available is directly related to the functionality of GBPVR....meaning you can access your music, videos, recorded programs and pictures......a general file browser is not in scope of EWA.

Wouldn't it also open up for security problems as for now it is limited to only access some files that you allow to be viewed. With a general browser that you only log in with name and password on a an open channel (no encrypting are done ASFAIK when you log on to your web server GBPVR) which could endanger your system from outsider attack or an easy forgotten log out on a public computer. Better to only use dedicated folder/space for this purpose.
