any way you could add the currently playing file to gbpvrcli?
whether it be mp3 or mpg or avi....
i have a nice lcd app that works great even for live tv and timeshift, but i can't get any info on file playback, all i need is filename and i can get the rest from database..

tho i could also use gbpvrcli for that too...Smile
[but direct sqlite access gives me the speed needed for such a instantaneous feedback with little resource use for db access..even tho i like the way your app formats the output better..]

it reads the db directly and writes the data to the registry for lcd smartie to read, very efficient...no disk accesses at all...[cept for the db read]
all needed for a live, constantly refreshed app...
so any help woulld be fantastic...i just can't figure out those events or how to get them out...Sad
also, can your dll's be accessed directly?

Only a plugin inside GB-PVR can access the name of the currently playing file. GBPVRcli is an entirely separate entity and so cannot access this information.

There is a LCDSmartie plugin for GB-PVR that may be able to provide this information but I do not any details about it. I don't know whether that link takes you to the latest version but you will be able to contact the developer there.

Thanks for your time in posting. Be well!
