I had a good working system but it stopt recording sound after feb 18. There were some MS updates installed on that date.
Removing these update and even did a system restore to feb 17 but still no sound in the recorded video's Sad

I have tried reinstalling the pvr-500 driver and GBPVR software but without succes.

Hope someone can help.

If you playback an older recording, do they still have sound?

Sorry, I'm not really sure. Hauppauge PVR150/500 cards seem to be a bit prone to this. I'm not sure why it happens.

One time, after reinstalling GBPVR, I had sound again. But the next recordings were without again. Sad

If you record in the WinTV software, does it have audio? If so, does a subsequent recording made in GB-PVR then have audio?

I think Hauppauge have a few audio related bugs in their PVR150/500 drivers. I'm guessing it relates to the large number of different tuner modules they can have. I'm guessing some modules arent initialised correctly, causing those cards to have audio problems.

I don't have WinTV software, only the driver...
But I did a reinstall from the PVR driver with the "HcwDriverInstall(32Bit Only).exe" and this seems to fix it.

I will cross my fingers. Smile

Thanks for your advice.
