Attached is an updated RSS library.

Publish dates are now in compliant rcf822 format.
Season Recordings now carry the tile of the season recording.

How much work would it be to generate RSS feeds that itunes can understand?

I tried subscribing as it is now, but it doesn't work -- looks like itunes wants to see more rss metadata indicating what type of content it is or something. At least, for me it didn't actually show any items listed once I subscribed, though other feed readers would.

It seems like this might be a really good way to get tv onto the ipod automatically.

Actully I am testing a version that contains enclosures which I belive is what needs to be there for itunes. The thing with enclosures is that the link in the enclosure has to be a file.

EWA uses optimized streaming to deliver media files or a compressed zip of a file via either an .aspx or .ashx page......which are not recognized as a valid enclosure link......well.....they are recognized and work but instead of abcvideo.mpg you endup with download.aspx as the name of the file.

To overcome this I am utilizing an open source http file shareing app called HFS.

The enclosure testing that I am doing allows you to add an port param to the query string when calling the rss.aspx page......when this parm is present it will create an enclosure tag for the media file and will use the specified port to correctly point the enclosure link to the hfs port.
