I just saw this in \gbpvr\config.xml and wonder what it is for?

Just leave it set to 'true' these days. It hasnt been tested as 'false' for over two years, and I doubt it works any more. It related to how the OSD was shown. It didnt look very nice when set to 'false' (it dimmed the video when the OSD appeared), but was required for some of the really old dongles.

Sub, I now this is more for the mvpmc forum, but it seems related. I get the dims with the <OSDTransparency>170</OSDTransparency> value on a pause and other OSD but then these are often quickly set back to 0. I see this even on the Hauppauge dongle. Shouldn't it stay set on a pause? If not I think I should just to ignore the dim.
