Remote/Sound

I know this question has probably been asked 8000 times but I can't for the life of me find a thread on it on this forum:

I am using the 45 button Hauppage remote, the granularity of the sound adjustment with the remote is too coarse. Is there any way to change the granularity? Or perhaps change things to a log response from a linear? Or slow down the increment as you are holding down the button?

if you notice in ireremote.ini there's some APPCOMMANDS keys in default section...make sure those are ;'d out as they wil double each button hit making volumes jump twice for every one hit...

at least that did it for me...oh and use local volume in config
