satellite newb: gbpvr & usb sat recvr?

I am exploring the possibility of installing a dish to pick up free to air in north america. I have a gbpvr setup with a hauppage 150 capture card receiving a av feed from my directv tuner. The directv tuner is controlled by gbpvr via the hauppage ir blaster.

Is there a good usb or pci satellite (DVB? I'm still learning the terminology) that gbpvr can control? Or some other receiver? Thanks.

I think most of the other North American DVB users seem to use the Twinhan 102G.

Do PCI cards like that have the ability to control a motorized dish for tuning to mulitple satellites?

With the twinhan card it has support for controlling diseqc switches for using multi-lnb or multi-dish setups. It doesnt current have positioner (motor) support, but it may be something I add in a future release.

The 102g is hard to find, a number of people here also use the Twinhan 1025 or 1027.
