Pvr-150 IR

I have my PVR up and running fine except for this really annoying IR issue.
Every time I use the 45 button remote that came with my Hauppauge to bring up the guide or anything the Hauppauge IR configuration utility pops up.
It seems like it is not save the configuration after I run through the wizard.
I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling the latest software and it didn't help.
Anybody else see this?

I'm taking some guesses on your system.
Analog cable, PVR150 not mce remote.

On the config page dvd/remote do you have Default Hauppauge selected?
Did you press the fix 45 button remote on the same config page?
On the capture page do you have no channel changer selected?
