For the latter I have a question to SUB: Do you consider taking up that project again in the future? Or should we focus om the mvpmc dongle that Martin Vallevand is developing for GBPVR? It looks like an interesting development even though it is not yet as good for me as the dongle that came with 0.99.5
No, I have no plans to work on the gbmvp.bin dongle any more. Cant be arsed.

Just use either the Hauppauge or mvpmc dongle.

Appreciate the insights. Thanks.
I honestly dont believe anything much has changed except the dongle. Some people have resorted to running slightly older dongles, which should make things just as stable as previous releases.

Good to know. I was under the impression people were running older versions of GBPVR as well to make the MVP more stable. I don't mind playing changing the dongle to test various setups.

Re-read what I said. I wasnt talking about the MVP or dongle.bin.

I was only talking about the alternative gbmvp.bin dongle that I included with a couple of releases last year. It was only created to add video inset mode, which wasnt possible with the Hauppauge dongle.bin. I later convinced Hauppauge to add it to dongle.bin, so there was no further need for gbmvp.bin.
