Can I install GBPVR on a server OS like Windows server 2003? my pvr acts like a server so i figure why not install the OS on it. But before i take it down and reconfigure i wonder if its possible?

Originally I had it on a Win 2000 As server. Worked fine. I did move it to a separate XP machine, because I needed the server for long term heavy duty processing, which did get in the way of GBPVR

I have GB-PVR on Win2k3. I did have to find and move a copy of the DVR-MS codecs from an XP box. Easy enough to do. No other problems.

Thanks for the responses I have a pretty decent setup now with xp pro sp2 the only reason i would go to 2k3 is because i want to use a domain controller with active directory but i wonder if the hassle is worth it...as it is i haven't had any probs with my xp setup....

No problems here.
Don't know what HW you're using, but when it comes down on HAU tuner cards and a VIA based mobo, make sure you install he via 4in1 chipset driver or the HAU drivers won't install.
