I am developing my own graph recorder plugin to be able to use enhanced teletext features of my Theatrix 550 analog TV card (It uses ATI WDM drivers).

I can not find any documentation on how to set/save programatically the compression parameters for the ATI hardware encoder DS filter. Standard DS compression interfaces are obviously not supported. Can anybody help me with this?

graph recorder? as in a graphedit graph? or just building the graph internally?
if you build the graph in graphedit, can you do a 'properties' on the encoder device? if saved inside a graph, those settings should be saved and reloaded..
tho some filters will reset and use defaults, one would think the encoder wouldn't..

now programatically, there may be no way to set those externally....
[i remember seeing some interfaces info that ATI released, but they were very sparse..check their site.]

have you tried the GraphRecorder plugin [new] you should be able to do what you want if you can build a graph that works in graphedit..Smile

It is a graphedit graph. Unfortunately for this particular HW Encoder filter settings are not saved within the graph. Modification of settings through property pages seems to be global.

Since GB-PVR obviously can handle settings on this HW Encoder some interface obviously exists. Unfortunately I could not find any information on ATI's site about it. The filter supports IKsPropertySet interface, but one can not use it without informaton about the data structures particular to this filter.

I understand. Is there maybe some object/interface exposed in GP-PVR which would enable me to set the parameters on my DS filter?
