My EPG is blank after working for a long time. I use XMLTV. I have this in the XMLTV log:

WARNING: Strange 480 has no callsign. Skipping
Writing schedule: hash missing value for title (expected list) at /PerlApp/XMLTV.pm line 2474.
keys missing in programme hash, not writing at /PerlApp/XMLTV.pm line 2513.
#hash missing value for title (expected list) at /PerlApp/XMLTV.pm line 2474.
keys missing in programme hash, not writing at /PerlApp/XMLTV.pm line 2513.

Any Ideas?

Sounds like a bug in your XMLTV software.

Using the zap2it epg source directly from GB-PVR will be much easier than having to rely on external XMLTV software, and should get you around this.

I agree it is simpler. Being able to only record new shows has a high WAF, however. If using the Zap2it directly is the only answer then so be it, but I would like to try to fix XMLTV. How about a complete reload of XMLTV? Would it help? I will try that next.

Sorry, I dont really know. Its not really a GB-PVR problem, but rather something going wrong with the utility you use to generate XML files later fed to GB-PVR.

Someone else here that also uses this utility may have some ideas for you.

if you're using zap2it and I-xmltv, then gbpvr is saving the .xml to be fed to i-xmltv to process, so you may have reset the 'save guide xml' [or something to that effect] in config.xml Smile
without that, there's no guide for i-xmltv to process..

For some reason Zap2It dropped several channels from my lineup also, and I started getting the xmltv “strange ### has no callsign, Skipping” message you have. But the downloader didn’t give me any of your other messages, or download problems.

I corrected the “strange” error by going to my Zap2It account, clicking on “modify” my lineup, then clicking on “update”. The missing “strange” channels were not in the Zap2It channel lineup, but apparently they were still sending some corrupt information from them in the download.
Modify/Update must have removed the channels they were referencing but not displaying in my account, because it fixed the strange message.

After fixing your Zap2It account, be sure to run –configure.bat in the I-xmltv folder to update your channel lineup.

Hope this helps.
Jim
