MOV Transcode Question

Can any one direct me on which tool to use to transcode from .mov to mpg to play on my mvp? i have search for tools and could not locate one to use or if you have any suggestion, thanks.

ffmpeg will handle mov. This target is a higher resolution than you probably need but you can adjust as needed. This line is for a batch file (the %1 is a parameter)
I haven't tried this on the MVP. Let me know if it works. I know it will convert the file, the only question is if the file is mvp playable or not.

ffmpeg -i %1.mov -target dvd %1.mpeg

I use the following:

ffmpeg -i %1.mov -target pal-svcd %1.mpg

If I use DVD it will not allways convert...
