New Hauupage PVR 1800

Does anybody know if the new Hauupage PVR 1800 and the PVR 1600 are the same except that one is PCI and one is PCIe?

According to what's been announced by Hauppauge, that is correct. Of course what they deliver to the retail stream may not be the same as the pre-production version.
